Grey Interiors (2021)

The compositions of British musician Darren J. Cunningham aka Actress work like a hypertext transformed into music. In collaboration with the artist collective Actual Objects he presents the post-industrial symphony “Grey Interiors.” The three-part composition presents our civilization as an imploded space with no discernable gravitation, of which only drifting machine fragments and decaying objects are left – like quotes without reference system. Floating through the gloomy ether, “Grey Interiors” takes us into the otherworldliness of a landscape beyond man.
