Sami Amiris Group featuring Rex Richardson

The renowned pianist, Sami Amiris, sharing the stage with the virtuoso trumpeter, Rex Richardson. With a wealth of influences in his pianistic armoury (classical, jazz, traditional music from Asia, Africa, New Zealand, the Balkans and elsewhere as well as ancient Greek music), Amiris will have three outstanding musicians at his side (Panagiotopoulos, Trivolis, Ladopoulos).

They will be joined by Rex Richardson, a Californian trumpeter with a dazzling technique, and a formidable improviser who strikes an artful balance between blues bepop and the most adventurous harmonies.
