Synopsis

Two siblings live in the industrial town of Eleusis. A bridge connects their neighborhood to an area inhabited by immigrants. Residents of the two areas, which are labeled by the locals as ‘Upper Little Moscow’ and ‘Downtown Little Moscow,’ are constantly in turmoil and conflicts. On the one side there are Greek people mostly originating from Black Sea ancestors, while the other side is inhabited by refugees who have come recently from Albania, Pakistan, Africa. Hostility between residents of the two areas is also reflected in the local sports matches, which are characterized by great rivalry and competition. The two siblings have chosen different approaches to deal with their neighborhood’s rivalry. Sima is much more open to accept diversity than her brother and hangs out with people from the other side, such as her best friend Xenia. The name of the bridge that unites all of them is Motorway 65.
