Sali, a young man of Albanian origin, has dropped out of school and works at greenhouses. He wants to save enough money to go through the tryout process at the Juventus Academy. But to make his dream come true, he must first overcome a series of hurdles in his harsh daily life. “Greenhouse” is a coming-of-age film that describes a story of hope, following the struggle of an immigrant teenager who refuses to give up on his dreams despite the difficulties he faces. The film premiered at the 46th Drama International Short Film Festival, where its protagonist Fabrizio Muccio received the Best Actor Award. It has screened in over 20 festivals, both in Greece (Thessaloniki International Film Festival, Athens International Film Festival Opening Nights, Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People, among others) and abroad (BUFF Malmö Film Festival in Sweden, Cinehill Motovun Film Festival in Croatia, Festival de Cine de Alicante, Dhaka International Film Festival in Bangladesh, among others).
