Yorgos Stenos

Yorgos is a sonic scavenger; a full-time explorer of hardware stores, kitchens and junkyards in quest for noise-making treasures. Live performances are given with his home-brewed electroacoustic instruments, electronics and amplified objects. He has created audiovisual works, installations and music compositions for instruments and fixed media. He's also conducting workshops on sound experimentation for young people and adults of diverse backgrounds. Yorgos has studied Music and Audio / Visual Arts at the Ionian University (GR) and completed a Master’s in MusM Composition (Electroacoustic Music and Interactive Media) at the University of Manchester (UK).
