Wearable Media is a fashion technology design studio based in New York, co-founded by Yuchen Zhang and Hellyn Teng. They create immersive, interactive apparel that illustrate a world of futuristic fashion. They innovate at the intersection of technology, design, and fashion, designing high quality, cutting-edge, smart apparel that sense the world around us. They also practice a sustainable production cycle, including reusing upcycled and biodegradable fabrics to create their collections.

Their work has been showcased by The Wall Street Journal, VENICE DESIGN, Viva Technology, ON CANAL by Wallplay, Paris Fashion Week, SXSW, Creative Tech Week, NYC Media Lab, World Maker Faire, Imagine Science Film Festival, New York University, and EdLab, Teachers College at Columbia University. They have also been featured in The Verge. Wearable Media are members of NEW INC, the first museum-led incubator, Futureworks Incubator Program, NYCEDC, and Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator, and have been supported by the Kate Spade & Company Foundation. In 2018 they were selected as one of the top 30 finalists for the LVMH Innovation Award.
