Tzeni Argyriou
Choreographer and transmedia artist

Tzeni Argyriou is a choreographer and transmedia artist. She was born in Kavala and graduated from the National School of Dance in Athens (KSOT). With a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation, she continued her studies in New York, where she collaborated with international artists and created her first choreographic works. Since 2003 Tzeni has been a founding member of the non-profit organization AMORPHY, which is a platform for experimentation between different art forms, through which multimedia projects and collaborations emerge. Her creations and co-creations include projects such as: “Phrasis § Praxis” (ongoing), “Synthesis” (2021), “Αποθέματα: Inventory” (2018), “ANΩNYMO” (2018), “Face to Phase” (2017), and “Memorandum” (2014). Tzeni has presented her work at venues around the world, such as the Onassis Stegi, Greek National Opera, Rencontres chorégraphiques internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis Festival, Kalamata International Festival, Athens Festival and others.
