Simos Kokkovos

Simos Kokkovos, born in Athens in 1984, has held the position of the Digital Health Services Business Manager of Siemens Healthineers Greece, since May 2017.

His strong interest in the world of Digital Technologies led him to pursue Studies in the scientific fields of Electronics and Informatics. He holds a Master's Degree (MSc) in "Digital Communications & Networks" from the Department of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus.

He has extensive experience (~ 15 years) in Imaging Systems Sales (Diagnostic Imaging) and Health Informatics (Healthcare IT), and he was Project Manager and Lead Engineer in various projects of interconnection and configuration of Health Information Systems (HIS/RIS /VNA/PACS/AV) and Imaging Systems (CT,MR), both in Greece and abroad.

In addition, he has published articles on intelligent and network-based systems at the international organizations ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) and Petra (Pervasive Technologies Related to Assistive Environments).
