Panayiotis Demopoulos

Panayiotis Demopoulos studied composition and piano in Edinburgh, at the Royal College of Manchester, and at the Universities of Cambridge and York. He has composed over 100 works for concert and educational use, and his recordings as a pianist have received positive reviews internationally (Gramophone, International Record Review, Fanfare, Tempo, Jazz Review, etc.). He was the artistic director of the international music seminars of Kozani and from 2011 to 2019 he was the president of the Koventarios Library and Deputy Mayor of Culture of the Municipality of Kozani. He works as a teacher in secondary education.
