Nefeli Asteriou

Nefeli Asteriou lives and works in Athens and Paris. She graduated with honors from the Greek National School of Dance in 2015. Between 2015-16, she was a member of the Bodhi project at SEAD. Choreographers she has worked with include, among others: Etienne Guilloteau, Ian Kaler, Andonis Foniadakis, Iris Karayan, Anastasia Valsamaki, Mark Lorimer, Dimitrios Mytilinaios, Christian Rizzo, Byström Källblad. In 2020-21, she was awarded the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Fellowship by ARTWORKS and co-edited the fanzine “Are you here?”.

She is interested in the adrenaline and sensitivity of the moving body in the moment of its exposure in front of the gaze and aspires to keep approaching the world and herself through dancing.
