Max Friedlich

Max Friedlich is a playwright from New York City. In TV/Film, he's developed projects for FX ("Emancipated" co-created with Stephen Falk and "Pussy Magnet" produced by Blair Breard), SONY Animation ("Cloutland", an anime recently sold to Funimation as one of their first American originals), AMC, and a feature for Riley Keough. In theatre, he's the director of the IAMA "Under 30 Playwrights Lab" and was formerly a writer in residence at New York Stage and Film's Powerhouse Theatre Development Center. His work has been performed at places like The Blank Theatre, The Kraine, IRT, and a number of colleges around the country. In 2012, he was the youngest ever writer to present work at the New York International Fringe Festival with his play "Sleepover". In new media, he ghostwrote Twitter and Instagram pages for a bunch of famous people, creative directed the AriZona Iced Tea TikTok, and wrote for the Snapchat series "Solve" as well as Filmnation's "Hyperthetical" podcast.
