Dimitris Tsakaleas & Lida Vartzioti

Dimitris Tsakaleas and Lida Vartzioti are a directing duo. Their films have traveled and been awarded to film festivals around the world, such as Karlovy Vary: Future Frames, Sarajevo IFF, Cairo IFF, Palm Springs ShortFest, Trieste IFF, etc., and have screened to platforms such as Directors Notes and Cinobo.

Their first feature film, “Friends, Birthdays, Murder, etc.” (produced by Atalante Productions S.A.), has been financially supported by the Greek Film Center & ERT S.A.

They are graduates of the School of Film, Faculty of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Stavros Niarchos Artworks Fellows, Sarajevo, and Berlinale Talents Campuses Alumni.
