Konstantinos Papanikolaou

Konstantinos Papanikolaou holds a Master’s Degree in Dance from the Paris 8 University Vincennes-Saint-Denis and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. As a dancer and performer, he has collaborated internationally with Gerard & Kelly and Alexandra Bachzetsis, has taken part in Munich, Lyon, and Birmingham’s Biennales, and has also performed at various venues including Centre Pompidou, Paris; Hellerau, Dresden; The Place, London; and Mercat des Flors, Barcelona. In Greece, he has worked, among others, with the choreographers Patricia Apergi, Jenny Argiriou, and Mariela Nestora, and has collaborated in theater plays with Argiris Pandazaras, Circe Karali, Eleni Efthimiou, Lilly Meleme, Eleftherios Veniadis, et al. He has choreographed and presented “Tonight and Every Night” at the Arc for Dance Festival in 2020 and “The Diving Horse and Other Mythologies” at the Young Choreographers Festival, Onassis Foundation, in 2021. Part of his last project’s research and development, titled “A User’s Manual”, which was presented during the Onassis New Choreographers Festival (ONC9) at 2022, took place at TROIS C-L (Luxembourg) and Le Grand Studio (Brussels), in the framework of the annual support by the Grand Luxe network. He has been awarded by Artworks (2021) and is a Fellow at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Fellowship Program.
