Bio

Klodiana Millona (1990, Albania) is a researcher and spatial and visual practitioner, based between Rotterdam and Tirana. She holds a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture from the Royal Academy of the Arts in the Hague and studied Sonology at the Royal Conservatoire of the Hague. She is currently a resident at the Jan Van Eyck Academy (2023-24) and a fellow of the transnational research program “A Natural Oasis” (2022-24). She is a co-founder of the spatial and visual practice “millonaliu,” through which she investigates spatial ecologies of ruptures and the politics of space in relation to bodies, especially the politics of invisibility in space and invisibilized spatial practices. Her current research looks at the spatial implications of citizenship practices and the (long-term) effects on the bodies subject to it.
