Keenan Tyler Oliphant

Keenan Tyler Oliphant is a South African theater-maker and director whose work draws from the storytelling traditions of the region. He aims to create performances that serve as spaces for healing, exploration, mourning, and celebration while challenging social and political norms through ritualistic expressions of the spiritual. Keenan has served as Associate Director for various productions, including "Hadestown" on Broadway and "Oratorio for Living Things" at Ars Nova. He is a fellow at Clubbed Thumb and Drama League and an alumnus of Columbia's MFA Directing for Theater program.
