Haris Pazaroulas
Haris Pazaroulas was born in Thessaloniki. He studied music at the Ionian University – Department of Music Studies, the Athens Conservatoire, and the Sibelius Academy in Finland. As a doctoral candidate at the University of Macedonia – Department of Music Science and Art, his research interests are intensely focused on the study, interpretation, and performance of contemporary and experimental music, and center around works by Greek composers for solo double bass. He is a permanent member of the Athens State Orchestra, the ΤΕΤΤΤΙΞ contemporary music ensemble, and the quinteto TANGartO music group. His first solo album – “Transcendence I” – is to be released in 2023 by Submersion Records.
