Eleni Riga

Born in Kalamata, Eleni Riga studied Communication, Media and Culture at Panteion University in Αthens and she holds a master degree in curatorial studies from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a post-master degree from Konstfack University in Stockholm.
She has worked as a curator, educator, cultural producer and writer. Her practice focuses on the politics of care, feminist practices and ecology. Previously, she worked at the Adult & Academics Programs at MoMA, she directed the Contemporary Art Department of Eleusis 2023-European Capital of Culture and she was curatorial assistant at documenta 14.
As an independent art professional, she has collaborated with many institutions in Europe and the USA. In 2023, she is developing a fluid curatorial research platform on water politics for ATOPOS cvc in Αthens.
