Baran Kosari

Baran Kosari also ascertained her abilities as a theater actress playing in “Over the Mirror” (1997), directed by Azita Hajian, and in “Amid the Clouds” (2006) and “Quartet: A Journey North” (2007) both plays directed by Amir Reza Koohestani and successfully in Europe.

She’s graduated from Soureh Academy. The Best Papa of the World (1991) is her first acting experience. Since then, she acted in her mother's movies Rakhshan Bani-Etemad, “Nargess” (1991), “The Blue Scarf” (1994), “The May Lady” (1997), “Rain and Landsman episode” (from "Kish Stories" episode - 1998), “Under The Skin Of The City” (2000), “Our Times” (documentary movie - 2001).

In 2007, she was nominated for the “Best performance by an actress” at the Asia Pacific Screen Award for her performance in the movie “Mainline”.
