Athina Alexopoulou

Athina Alexopoulou studied Acting at the Department of Theater Studies of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, and at the Drama and Dance School of Kent. She works as an actress since 2003.

She has collaborated with numerous institutions and theaters, including the National Theatre of Northern Greece, Epi Kolono, the Neos Kosmos Theater, Proskinio, the Contemporary Theater of Athens (Synchrono Theatro), the Athens & Epidaurus Festival, the Michalis Cacoyannis Foundation, the Onassis Stegi, Bios, Faust, Beton 7, Olvio, Topos Allou, and Polis.

She has worked with directors like Paul Allain, Eleni Skoti, Petros Zivanos, Giorgos Paloubis, Kostas Philippoglou, Yorgos Papageorgiou, Evi Dimitropoulou, Antonis Loudaros, Tassos Ratzos, Varvara Daliani, Perris Michailidis, Manos Tsangaris, Irini Margariti, among others. She has collaborated with directors Christos Dimas, Yorgos Gigapeppas, Nikos Panagiotopoulos, Panos Koronis, Stella Kyriakopoulos, Petros Kalkovalis, et al., in works for cinema and TV. She has also worked as an assistant director for theater and cinema, as well as a movement coach in various theater performances. Last but not least, she is a yoga instructor and Thai massage therapist.
