Patricia Apergi and the Aerites Dance Company are seeking performers – regardless of gender, age, background, and physique; with or without disabilities – for their new production, “The House of Trouble”.

“The House of Trouble” is a show being created to present everything that goes beyond what we’re used to, a show crafted to allow us to marvel at all that is different, one that dares to spotlight all that is not the norm, and that exists to remind us of the magnificence and the beauty of every body, of every existence. It is a celebration embracing the joy of transformation and the diversity of bodies.

This audition is addressed to contemporary dance professionals experienced in movement research and improvisation. All other special physical skills are also welcome (flexibility, acrobatics, and so on). Performers with a background in voguing or krumping are particularly encouraged to apply.

The production is set to premiere at Onassis Stegi in May 2023, with its research phase, rehearsals, and performances taking place in Athens between January 2023 and May 2023.
