Sounding Paths Residency: Ten days of intensive research at the capital of Cyclades
12 artists and researchers of the natural and artificial sound, come from 10 different countries in Greece in order to participate in the"Sounding Paths Residency" program.
Syros Sound Meetings
This year, the ten-day intensive artistic research workshop "Sounding Paths Residency" is held in Syros and Old Jesuit Monastery from the 5th until the 15th of July 2019. The 12 participants will visit Ano Syros for the first time, in order to analyze natural and artificial sounds of the wider area of Apano Merias, and also discuss about the island's auditory environment.

The "Sounding Paths Residency" program is organized in collaboration with Onassis Stegi and Syros Institute as part of the European program Interfaces, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme: An Onassis Stegi initiative aiming to introduce new music to an extensive range of new audiences.
In addition to previous years, the research program includes two activities that are open to the public at Syros Sound Meetings and the Old Jesuit Monastery of Ano Syros.
