A week of workshops and lectures focusing on disabled artists, dancers, and choreographers who are charting an emerging path in the performing arts. Artistic practices and tools of choreographic composition, dramaturgy and contemporary practices, identity and accessibility are some of the topics that will be researched in the lab.
What are the materials of artistic creation? Which tools do we use for a choreographic work?
The lab will offer an open discourse for experimentation through an intensive week of workshops and lectures by invited dancers and choreographers from Greece and abroad.
The lab is coordinated and curated by choreographer Maria Koliopoulou and dancer/choreographer Demy Papathanasiou.
