THE ARTWORK BY TEO TRIANTAFYLLIDIS IS PΡESENTED ON A LARGE-SCALE DAY SCREEN OUTSIDE THE ICONIC PETIT PALAIS.

"PROMETHEUS" AT THE INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR, FIAC

Part of the Onassis Foundation Collection, the artwork by emerging Greek artist Theo Triantafyllidis, “Prometheus” (2017), was selected to join the prestigious International Contemporary Art Fair (FIAC) in Paris. The work is presented on a large-scale day screen, on a pedestrianized Avenue Winston Churchill, just outside the iconic Petit Palais, during the 18th-21st October 2018.

The mesmerizing live-simulation video is based on the computer’s archiving algorithm and depicts a pigeon in aggressive pursuit of a pretzel, demonstrating the never-ending cycle of greed and self-serving conduct. The work was initially presented at the Onassis Birds’ Festival in New York in May 2018 and now opens its wings to the rest of the world.
