Members of the Onassis Scholars Association from across the globe become mentors for tomorrow’s generation
35 Scholars of the Onassis Scholars Association visit classrooms across Greece, in collaboration with the organization ‘The Tipping Point.’
The Onassis Scholars Association launches a new collaboration with the organization ‘The Tipping Point,’ as part of a series of activities with social impact. ‘The Tipping Point’ connects role-models with students attending schools across Greece, providing the students with all necessary information in order to make the right decisions just before proceeding with their academic course. Starting in September 2021, 35 renowned professionals and researchers with international career share their experience and knowledge in their field of expertise. They will talk with students all over Greece via live online streaming and will answer their questions regarding studies and professions in the fields of Culture, Research, Entrepreneurship and Health.
The action aims to enhance the awareness on the above-mentioned fields among youth, highlighting their up-to-date aspects, to inspire students through real-life examples, in order to help them envision their own future, as well as to provide them with all necessary information and meaningful data related to the practice of several diverse professions.
The Onassis Scholars Association members will share their knowledge, focusing on how they ‘succeeded’ in an ever-changing market, as well as on the near-future skills that the students will need in their respective fields.
