CORA by Evi Kalogiropoulou at International Film Festival Rotterdam

Supported by Onassis Culture

Εurimages Co-production Development Award: A great award for Evi Kalogeropoulou's second short film.

A few months after Motorway65’s nomination at Cannes International Film Festival, CORA by Evi Kalogiropoulou produced by Neda Films and supported by Onassis Culture in its development phase, just won the Εurimages Co-production Development Award, the prestigious International Film Festival Rotterdam award for films currently in development.

More specifically, the jury of CimeMart stated that their decision was to support “a supernatural dram of two unexpected female characters on the spotlight, who fight for freedom and their identity, in a unique urban landscape”.

Cora follows the story of two women who fall in love and fight to go beyond the limitations of a dystopian patriarchic society.
