Center for Shipping, International Trade and Finance
The Center for Shipping, International Trade and Finance was founded in 1983 by Professor Costas Grammenos at Bayes Business School of City University, offering postgraduate studies on the respective fields. As of its establishment, more than 2,200 students have graduated, coming from more than 90 countries. The Center enhances the international dialogue among leading government, academic and economics executives. Several graduates hold today leading positions in the areas of international banking system, shipping, trade and processing.
The City of London is a global commercial and financial center
Commercial and Financial Center of the UK
The City of London, under Lord Mayor, is the commercial and financial center not only of the UK but the entire world. Its responsibilities include now the administration of Barbican Centre, the Central Criminal Court (Οld Bailey), 40,000 square meters of open space including Hampstead Heath and Epping forest, as well as the services of Port Health Authority London.
