Families support each other and sustain one another. They nurture, develop and unleash potential. This is why the Onassis Foundation decided in 1999 to launch the Special Grant and Support Program for Scholars’ Association members.
CALL FOR THE SCHOLARS’ ASSOCIATION GRANTS AND SUPPORT PROGRAM 2024-2025
The application process for the academic year 2024-25 has ended.
We would like to thank you for your interest. The results are expected to be announced individually to the applicants at the end of July 2024.

The Onassis Foundation established the Special Grant and Support Program for Scholars’ Association members in 1999, which supports the activities of the Scholars’ Association members more systematically.This program is announced annually and over the course of its 24 years of operation has supported the Members of the Onassis Scholars' Association through:
- grants for publication of a PhD thesis which has received recognition in the academic community,
- funding of research projects with the participation of at least one member of the Onassis Scholars’ Association,
- funding of scientific conferences or important cultural events with the participation of members of the Scholars’ Association and with the possible involvement of personalities from abroad.
This special grant has been awarded to 110 members of the Scholars’ Association until 2023.
