Marina Gioti - Beirut Art Residency

Marina Gioti is the first Onassis AiR Exchange Resident (2019), conducting a two-month research at BAR (Beirut Art Residency) in Beirut.

While in Beirut, Gioti conducted research into artifacts, peοple and stories of Lebanese and Middle Eastern music recordings that took place at a now derelict historic phonographic plant in Greece, alongside exploring local psychogeographies that will eventually feed an ongoing photographic project.
