Introduction

The “Us and Them – Us as Them” cycle's wide-ranging discussions focus on both the Greek and international dimension of immigration.

Athenian residents old and new, people from different countries with different mother tongues who decided to make Athens their home, tell their stories. They talk about how they met, how hard it was to integrate into their new environment. They speak about rejection, but also of new friends and opportunities and the joy of solidarity.

The “Us and Them – Us as Them” cycle is about immigration, a burning issue throughout Europe. The cycle’s wide-ranging discussions will focus on both the Greek and international dimension of immigration.
