The “Us and Them – Us as Them” cycle's wide-ranging discussions focus on both the Greek and international dimension of immigration.
What factors have contributed to the steady rise of the extreme Right in Europe? How have extreme positions and ideas marginalized in post-war Europe found their way back to the centre stage of the continent’s public life? What has removed the stigma from the language of intolerance, and how has this language fed into the social polarization of Europe?
The “Us and Them – Us as Them” cycle is about immigration, a burning issue throughout Europe. The cycle’s wide-ranging discussions will focus on both the Greek and international dimension of immigration.
Entrance to all the events in the “Talks and Thoughts” Cycle is free and on a first come, first served basis.
The distribution of entrance thickets begins one (1) hour before each event.
Simultaneous translation is provided in the case of speakers using a language other than Greek.
The "Talks & Thoughts" events are also live streamed on onassis.org.The videos are also available after the end of the shows.
