Training teachers in open robotics technologies

In the framework of the Panhellenic Open Technologies Competition, an educational activity is organized to familiarize teachers of all levels with current education models based on the S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) approach.

All participants are trained so that they could teach the present of robotics with a student-centred, open-ended approach to knowledge, based on open technologies. In this way, they lay the foundations for the creation of an open, discovery-driven learning environment that will contribute creatively to the transformation of students into active citizens.

The open online courses in educational robotics are implemented by the Onassis Foundation and the Open Technologies Organization, in collaboration with the Organizing Committee of the Open Technologies in Education Competition.
