A few days before the presentation of “RELIC” at Onassis Stegi, Euripides Laskaridis delivers a two-day masterclass devoted to the mystery of artistic identity, tracing the elements that define it but also those that transform it. This masterclass is addressed to theater, dance, and performance professionals.

What makes an artist who they are? What are the elements that shape them? How do those elements evolve, and how does artistic growth go hand in hand?

Anchored in the process of creation and the artist’s relationship with their creativity, the masterclass “Paradox & Artistic Identity” invites the participants to unearth and embrace their artistic voice. Through exaggeration, self-deprecation, and transformation, as well as silence, contemplative observation, and documentation of the self, the participants are primed to discover new plateaus of expression.

Euripides Laskaridis will delve into the absurd universe of his works, sharing moments from his artistic trajectory, his shifting from theater to dance, and the distinct creative process that helps each work take shape within him.

Grounded on this exploration and through practical exercises, the participants will acquaint themselves with the notions of transformation and the ridiculous, coming upon new pathways of performance and physical expression.
