What is the electronic sound of the Mediterranean? Inspired by the past and in tune with the future, the Mediterranean Futures festival is part of a series of online and physical events that turn up the volume of the region’s electronic music scene.

Stegi Radio returns to the Municipal Market of Kypseli on October 21 with the new edition of Mediterranean Futures.

Drawing inspiration from the diversity and variety of the Mediterranean soundscape, Stegi Radio builds a musical mosaic with the futuristic, Middle-Eastern club sounds of ZULI, the energy of the African diaspora emitted by Shannen SP, the sensual dancehall of Scorpio Qveen and the fresh, fragmented sounds of BUILTONSOIL.
Continuing its research through the Mediterranean Futures events series, Stegi Radio creates a map that connects Athens with Cairo, Marseille, and London. In search of the places where the new embraces or ruptures tradition, Stegi Radio invites the neighborhood of Kypseli to celebrate with the new sounds of the Mediterranean electronic scene.
On October 21, Cairo-based ZULI, one of the biggest names in the international ‘new club’ scene, and London-based Shannen SP, a dynamic representative of global underground musical trends, meet with dancehall artist Scorpio Qveen from Marseille and the emerging music collective BUILTONSOIL from Athens, in a night that brings to Kypseli the sweeping energy of the hybrid sounds of the future.

Α futuristic, dance, music festival charged with traditional elements of the Mediterranean.
