This year’s winner of the DESTE Prize transforms the golden shell of the Onassis Stegi.

Titled "EtherealSunrise.com", the new multimedia creation of international visual artist Angelo Plessas transforms the golden shell of the Onassis Stegi. Bringing to mind an ethereal daybreak, moving images awaken the need for rebirth and catharsis.

Winner of this year’s Deste Prize, Angelo Plessas also exhibits his site-specific installation "I AMness" at the Onassis Foundation, New York, in the context of the Narcissus Now Festival (2015).
