Introduction

The “Us and Them – Us as Them” cycle's wide-ranging discussions focus on both the Greek and international dimension of immigration.

What impact has the presence and participation of economic immigrants had on the Greek economy? What role have they played in shaping the local labour market, and how active a role have they played in fuelling economic growth? Based on the data at our disposal, how can we evaluate the economic impact of immigration?

The “Us and Them – Us as Them” cycle is about immigration, a burning issue throughout Europe. The cycle’s wide-ranging discussions will focus on both the Greek and international dimension of immigration.
