FFF5 | Revival a new lease on life

This workshop led by the “schedia art” group will consist of a hands-on demonstration of how old, unsold issues of the street magazine "Schedia" can be re-used, transformed into attractive high-quality products. In so doing, we can give a new lease of life and a second chance to something that may seem ‘useless’ at first glance: an ‘old magazine’.

Schedia art’s social upcycling program brings together love, solidarity, education, participation, social (re)inclusion, creativity, social entrepreneurship and innovation as well as raising environmental awareness. The program’s primary aim is to provide opportunities for fellow citizens who are homeless and/or live below the poverty line--and who experience extreme forms of social exclusions as a result--to energize themselves, to get stronger and receive training and education while simultaneously improving their prospects of future employment.
