Something strange is going on behind the white picket fences of Lumberton, North Carolina houses. When mystery lover and college student Jeffrey Beaumont stumbles upon a severed human ear while crossing a field, he decides to find out what it is. With the daughter of a local detective by his side, Jeffrey’s investigation leads him into a bizarre world of sensuality and violence, with the mystery of the severed ear finding its solution in the relationship between a singer and a sociopathic sadomasochist.
