Introduction

For a fourth consecutive year, start-ups from the field of culture bring forward their business and innovation proposals, in a collaboration between the Onassis Culture and the National Bank of Greece for the program NBG Business Seeds.

Where is the culture of tomorrow being made at this very moment? What are the challenges and opportunities offered by the technologies of Artificial Intelligence and Mechanical Learning? What does a team of artists and developers actually need in order to secure a fund for the realization of their vision? How does the founding core reach high decisions for the roadmap of a B2C product?

Onassis Foundation and the National Bank of Greece, in collaboration with The People’s Trust, organize an online seminar focused on the strengthening, meeting, and networking of the teams that participated in the 12th Competition of Innovation & Knowledge, in the context of the NBG Business Seeds.

Culture Seeds’ is sowing the seeds of culture for a fourth consecutive year, in the framework of NBG Business Seeds and the Onassis Digital & Innovation programs. It involves a collaboration in the fields of innovation and cultural entrepreneurship, which aims to enhance businesses, communities, and the value chains that produce high-quality cultural goods, on a local level and for an international public.

Start-ups from the field of culture, varying in maturity status – from preliminary to seed level – have participated in the competition, submitting innovative entrepreneurship proposals in the field of culture. Apart from the shortlisted teams, collaborating fund programs and fostering entrepreneurship organizations have been further invited.

It all starts with a seed
