Demi Hannah Scott, the model-cum-blogger who became Antigone for Nick Knight’s lens, read Sophocles’ renowned work before the shooting session. She admires Antigone, who fights for her beliefs but also understands Ismene, who does not choose to rebel against authority and ruin her life. She rejects gender stereotypes and has chosen to live beyond such constraints. She believes in personal choice and opts for a life free of externally imposed moral and intellectual straightjackets, even if this means choosing death, just like Antigone.
