Zisis Tsiropoulos

Zisis Tsiropoulos is CEO of AGENSO, an SME established in Athens, which has as its mission to provide cutting-edge ICT solutions and services for smart agriculture, environment, water management, and smart cities. AGENSO develops hardware and software IoT tools, as well as decision support systems for pioneering rural and industrial systems allowing mitigating climate change, tackling barriers in the food production chain, addressing waste prevention and energy efficiency, under an integrated framework embracing fundamental core values of sustainability and circular economy, with particular emphasis on social responsibility. In addition, Zisis Tsiropoulos has 20 years of experience in teaching and research, with participation in over 30 national- or European-funded programs. He has also authored or co-authored more than 80 papers with over 1,100 citations.
