Yorgos Dimitriadis was born in Thessaloniki in 1964; his career as a musician began in the 1980s, when he played in rock and blues bands before turning to jazz and improvised music. He studied in Boston and New York, with illustrious teachers including Bob Moses and Alan Dawson. In addition to Glue, he is a founding member of collaborative trios Grix and Fabric and a cofounder of the artist group Kraatz. His produced his first solo work, “Kopfkino”, appeared in 2016 to critical acclaim. He has collaborated with important musicians including Amir ElSaffar, Frank Gratkowski, Tobias Delius, Clayton Thomas, Audrey Chen, Matthias Müller, and others. He has lived in Berlin since 2006.
