Yasmine Hussein
Yasmine Hussein is a visual artist and researcher whose main interest is the intersection of art, history, and heritage. After graduating from the Sorbonne University, she worked at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, before returning to Egypt to obtain a master's degree in arts and archaeology. Between 2008-2018, she worked as a researcher at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Her research projects and publications include “Sacred Places and Common Practices across The Mediterranean'' (2010), “Alexandria, past and present” (2020), among others. Her photographs were exhibited in Egypt, France, and Tunisia.
