Voltnoi Brege

Voltnoi Brege is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersections of live cinema, digital media, audiovisual installations, and music.

He is the co-founder and co-artistic director of STEGI.RADIO, an international online radio station in Athens, Greece, and currently co-curates the music programming at Onassis Stegi.

Voltnoi Brege is a member of the DETACH collective, which has curated cultural projects such as “The Death of Recorded Music” (2017), “Enter Afrofuturism” (2017), “Blockchain: Utopia or U-turn” (2018), and “Movement (1920–2020): Beyond and Between Borders” (2020).

Additionally, he is a founding member of the audiovisual collectives The Erasers and drog_A_tek, both of which have significantly contributed to the evolution of experimental media art in Greece and beyond.

Brege’s artistic and curatorial practice has been presented at institutions and festivals across Europe, including the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), London, the Mapping Festival, Geneva, the Bernier/Eliades Gallery, the Athens Biennale, documenta 14, and the Athens Epidaurus Festival.
