Angela Rabaglio

Angela Rabaglio (CH) is a freelance dancer and choreographer living in Brussels, with origins from Switzerland. She absolved her education as a dancer at the AHK in Amsterdam (de Theaterschool; MTD) and obtained in 2013 her bachelor diploma in contemporary dance. Upon that she created her first solo, “wind-up birds and polaroids,” with which she performed at several festivals in Europe. She received for her work the Encouragement Prize at the Barnes Crossing Solo Duo Festival in Cologne and the Audience Prize in Budapest at the SzoloDuo Festival. Angela has danced for several years with the Company Alias, directed by Guilherme Botelho, based in Geneva (CH). More recently she works with Jasmine Morand (Cie Prototype Status), based in Vevey (CH) as well as collaborates with different artists as an outside eye for their creations. Thanks to different influences in dance and other sources of movement inspirations (martial arts, climbing, yoga, dabké, etc.) Angela is developing gradually her personal physical practice, by melting old and new traditions. She teaches also workshops and classes for (semi-)professional dancers, circus students, and children.
