Stefania Gyftopoulou

Stefania is an architect with an Msc in Building and Urban Design in Development from UCL. Her interests lie in the politics of space and the role of participatory design practices in response to the challenges of marginalization and inequality. She has experience working in Attica’s refugee sites and is now the Project Manager for the housing pillar of “Curing the Limbo,” a European pilot program for refugees. Her current work focuses on access to housing, and the ways in which micro practices can scale up and inform planning at the policy level.
