Sohrab

Sohrab was born in Tehran in 1984. He was seven years old when the Gulf War ended. His name, found in an old poem titled “Shahname,” which means “red water” in Persian – a phrase which can also mean “blood.” He started a punk band with his brother and a friend, which lasted about two years before splitting. He currently lives in Berlin. Beside various projects and monikers he also runs the vinyl-only record label Shahr Farang. https://touch33.net/sohrab
