RSLG Quartet

The RSLG Quartet performs contemporary improvised music. It was founded in 2014 in Athens by Vassilis Roupas (piano, electronic effects), Yiannis Leloudas (drums), Stelios Giannoulakis (electronics), and Panayiotis Raptis (saxophone). The members of the group combine their avant jazz background with electronic music, sampling, and noise, and also play on and with musical toys that have been “treated” to produce electronic sounds with an acoustic timbre. Their first album, “Interplay”, appeared in 2016; another project, “Steps”, is underway.
