Rahi Rezvani

Rahi Rezvani was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Tehran University of Art and a master’s degree in Photography from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in 2008. Rezvani began his collaboration with Nederlands Dans Theater in 2006 and has been the company’s in-house photographer ever since. He has worked with performance artist Marina Abramović, Atelier Versace for ‘1843’ and GQ magazine UK, Gucci designer Alessandro Michele, Ricardo Tisci, and Willem Dafoe. In 2018, Rezvani shot the images and portraits for the reincarnation of Claude Debussy’s “Pelléas et Mélisande” by Damien Jalet and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. The production included sets by Abramović and costumes by Iris van Herpen. Rezvani won the Best Art Vinyl award for his photography on the 2018 album “Violence” by the British band Editors.
