Phoebe Koundouri, Professor and Director of ReSEES Research Laboratory, Athens University of Economics and Business; Director of Sustainable Development Unit and EIT Climate-KIC Hub Greece , Athena RC; President of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists; Fellow World Academy of Art and Science; Co-chair SDSN Europe & SDSN Greece and SDSN Global Climate Hub; She is the Founder and scientific chair of the Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Aeiphoria (AE4RIA) which is an e-network of four research and innovation centres, Innovation Acceleration Hubs and Scientific Associations and Science-Policy Networks, focused on sustainable development. She is Professor at the Department of Technology, Management and Economics, Technical University of Denmark, Commissioner and the "Green Recovery" Task Force Leader of the global COVID-19 Lancet Commission, member of the Nominating Committee for the Prize in Economics Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, member of the Pissarides Committee (10 year Greek Development Plan), and an advisor to the EU, the World Bank, the UN, NATO, the WHO and other international organizations and governments worldwide.
