Pavlos Tasios
Pavlos Tasios was born in 1942 in Polygyros, Northern Greece Since 1960, he worked as first assistant to the director Giannis Dalianidis. He directed eleven feature films in his career, of which the most popular and awarded were “To vary… peponi,” “Parangelia,” “Everything Is in Order, But…” and “Urge for Life” (1986), which was awarded with the Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor awards in Thessaloniki Film Festival. Tasios was married to actress and poet Katerina Gogou. He died on October 2, 2011.
